Role Title: Security Onion Specialist

We are seeking experienced Security Onion Specialists to support an AI training project focused on cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, and incident investigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete cybersecurity workflows using Security Onion.
• Analyze security alerts, network traffic, logs, and threat data.
• Perform alert investigation, threat detection, and incident response tasks.
• Record screen demonstrations of completed workflows.
• Create realistic prompts, detailed rubrics, and workflow documentation.
• Explain investigation techniques and tools clearly.
• Review task outputs for accuracy and compliance with project guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Security Onion for security monitoring, threat detection, or incident investigation.
• Current access to Security Onion and the ability to use it independently.
• Comfort with screen recording and sharing technical workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and clear technical communication skills.

Preferred: Experience in data annotation, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or similar human data projects.
